A DAMAGE CLAIM PROCESS VARIES BETWEEN 2 AND 3 WEEKS, AS PER EACH INDIVIDUAL CARRIER'S POLICIES. THE FREIGHT COMPANY WILL REIMBURSE THE VALUE OF DAMAGED ITEM(S) PLUS THE SHIPPING OF SUCH(S) AND THEN, AT THE FREIGHT CARRIERS DISCRETION, FORGET, PICK UP OR SALVAGE DAMAGED ITEMS / MERCHANDISE.
IN THE RARE EVENT OF FREIGHT DAMAGE IN-TRANSIT, AFBC WILL ASSIST THE CUSTOMER TO REMEDY THE SITUATION PROMPTLY BY FILING A CLAIM ON YOUR BEHALF, AGAINST THE FREIGHT CARRIER. IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE BY FREIGHT, ALL FURNITURE BY CATALOG, WILL ALWAYS BESIDE BY THE CUSTOMER, NOT THE FREIGHT CARRIER'S COMPANIES.
WHENEVER POSSIBLE, AT AFBC'S SOLE DISCRETION, WILL TRY TO REPLACE THE ITEM(S) DAMAGED IN-TRANSIT BY ANY CARRIER TO THE CUSTOMER PROMPTLY, WHILE THE DAMAGE CLAIM IS FILED / RESOLVED / SETTLED.
